A Note from The Founder
Mr. Rajesh Khatri is an Indian Entrepreneur who started his career as a Medical Representative. In 2003, he began Glowderma from Surat, Gujarat. He aimed to create safe, trusted, and innovative skin care products. His thorough understanding of the pharmaceutical and dermatology sectors is why Glowderma’s state-of-the-art formulas and products exist. Mr. Khatri envisions discovering and developing innovative skin care products now and in the future.
Our Journey
Glowderma Enters the Market
Mr. Rajesh Khatri, our MD and founder, formed Glowderma in 2003 with a vision to positively impact lives through innovations in skincare. We pioneered sulfate-free, paraben-free, and detergent-free products in India. And through many 1sts in India products, Glowderma pushed the boundary of quality skincare in India. Today, our products are considered the benchmark for many others.
Launched India’s 1st Ketoconazole Stay-on Lotion
In 2010, we launched a unique product - Kevon Lotion.
Kevon lotion is India’s first solubilized ketoconazole lotion formula. It’s an effective broad-spectrum antifungal lotion with anti-inflammatory properties that helps treat fungal infections, tinea infections, dandruff, tenia versicolor, and seborrheic dermatitis.
Launched India's first sulfate, paraben, and detergent-free cleanser with natural biodegradable surfactants.
In 2012, we made history by launching India’s first sulfate, paraben, and detergent-free cleanser with natural biodegradable surfactants. Parabens are carcinogenic; hence, we wanted to formulate our products without them.
Sulfates, especially SLS and other harsh surfactants, have been used to formulate shampoos and other cleansers. However, with prolonged use, it can damage your skin or hair.
We didn’t stop here. We’ve ensured that any fragrance used in our products is IFRA-certified, and our products are 100% cruelty-free.
Launched India’s 1st long-lasting moisturizer that is clinically tested to work up to 48 hours.
In 2014, we launched India’s first 48-hour long-lasting moisturizer - Moiz LMF 48. This moisturizer features a unique double hydrating concept and contains six natural moisturizing factors, including Hyaluronic Acid, Macadamia Oil, Phytosqualene, Vitamin E, and Aloe Vera. It has a non-irritating, non-comedogenic, and non-tacky formulation that thoroughly moisturizes by preventing transepidermal water loss and is especially suited for people with sensitive skin.
1st Time in India Novel Non-fluorinated Topical Quinolone
In 2020, Glowderma launched the OZX Ozenoxacin Cream 1% w/w and OZX Ozenoxacin Lotion 2% w/w.
The OZX Ozenoxacin Cream 1% w/v is an antibacterial cream used to treat Impetigo and other skin bacterial and soft tissue infections. It is a novel and powerful antibacterial approved by the US FDA. This Ozenoxacin Cream has also been proven safe in pediatric patients of 2 months and above.
Launched 3 Dimensional Immunity Booster
In 2022, we launched Imusil - a 3-dimensional immunity booster tablet to fight against viral infections. Imusil is clinically tested for treating viral respiratory infections - it boosts immunity and inhibits the body's pro-inflammatory cytokine responses and indicators, such as IL-6, CRP, and TNF-α. This tablet is also effective in treating COVID-19 and post-COVID symptoms by reducing fatigue and inducing appetite.
